Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is recruiting for a Graduate Engineer (Process). There is an increased thrust to deliver our services for the growing Asian market. As a result of this, our Process Department operation is expanding and evolving to manage the challenges of regional projects that continue to pose challenges in offering our services through a global talent pool. 


  • Report to the Manager of Process Engineering, be involved in undertaking process design activities on Foster Wheeler's current projects in the petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical industries
  • Be involved in all stages of project development from the initial concept phase, through basic design and plant definition to detailed design, construction and plant commissioning and operation. This will include undertaking calculations for heat and material balances, hydraulics, equipment sizing and safety related devices as well as preparing documents and drawings such as Process Flow Diagrams, Equipment Specifications and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

Skills / Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering with a keen interest to join the petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical industries
  • Result oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and tight timelines
