Our structured Graduate Programme will set you on the path to obtaining a QCF in Estimating and provide you with the necessary skills and experience to apply for membership of the relevant professional institution and become a fully qualified and proficient Estimator.

Estimating consists of two main groups, Contract Estimating and Proposals Estimating. Contract Estimates are produced on behalf of clients and are developed to define the total installed cost of the project including all materials and construction costs. Proposal Estimates are produced to support Wood's bidding activity and typically include for estimating the man-hours and prices for Wood's services to undertake the work. Estimating liaise with all engineering, technical and management disciplines across proposals and projects executed by Wood.
