Role Purpose
The Assistant Project Manager / Project Coordinator is accountable to the Project Manager in the planning and execution of the project/ deliverables to achieve the client’s objectives. This includes developing project management documentation and maintaining project information, controls and records.
The role also involves a focus on good stakeholder management, attention to detail as well as high quality delivery of outputs and promoting health and safety excellence. This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of limited-complexity projects involving multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the Project Manager to prepare and maintain definitions of the requirements of projects or project workstreams;
- Developing the plans and strategies to successfully delivery the project objectives;
- Maintaining governance arrangements for the delivery of projects that align with organisational practice;
- Liaising with key stakeholders, via email and phone, to plan and execute deliverables;

- Provide input into multi-disciplinary reports and technical proposals
- Produce design calculations and drawings including P&IDs, mass balance, PFDs and control philosophy documents
- Produce safety documents as/when required including ATEX assessments
- Participate in design reviews and HAZOP meetings, acting as HAZOP secretary
- Attend site meetings to discuss design/commissioning needs.
